Custom Tension Fabric Displays - Displayit® Event Marketing & Trade Show Newsletter
Sent 1/05/2007 - Josh Axelberd - Displayit.com

Displayit has expanded its line of portable tension fabric displays. We now offer a line of tension fabric displays including hanging signs, free standing fabric towers, and custom tension fabric displays. Our tension fabric line features hanging signs in an almost limitless variety of shapes and sizes. Our design staff can also help you create totally custom displays. There are a number of factors to consider when you are thinking about adding a hanging sign to your display package such as the additional setup and rigging costs, but these displays can do wonders to make your brand stand out on the trade show floor. Please contact one of our exhibit consultants to learn more about this exciting new product line.
"While there are additional costs of rigging and assembly, tennsion fabrics reduce your shipping and drayage costs," stated Mark Johnson, Director of Sales. "If you want a bigger, brighter, and lighter display, there's nothing that will meet those needs like tension fabrics. It really is a great product."
New Economical Graphic Options

Displayit is excited to let you know about the launch of our new economical Direct Print graphic production process. With the Direct Print process, we can produce a durable full color graphic without the need for lamination. This helps us to reduce the amount you will spend on many of your new graphics.
Our high-quality lambda graphics are still the best prints available and will be the choice for many of your high end needs. However, the direct print process makes it more economical to produce a large number of detachable graphics for table top and pop-up displays. We can also produce direct print mural panels, to replace existing pop-up panels. The Direct Print option is ideal if you are planning on using a mural for only a couple events, or if you don’t need a lambda quality print. While this process is somewhat limited in printing grey gradients or if your design has large areas of white, we believe Direct Print graphics will play a key role in your graphic arsenal.
"I'm very excited about the Direct Print process," said Mark Johnson, Director of Sales. "Direct Print has the potential to become one of the most popular print processes in the industry. Printing directly to the substrate reduces labor, time, and materials in the printing process, thus reducing costs for the customer."
Displayit Online Marketing Tips

We wanted to take a little time away from our typical discussion of trade show display products and discuss some of our thoughts on marketing online. We hope that these brief notes will help you grow and develop your online marketing efforts.
Over the last few years, online sellers have enjoyed success by using search engines such as Google, Yahoo, etc. to market their web sites. Whether by using paid or natural search listings, online marketers have found search to be an amazing way to put your product in front of people that are looking for it right at that very moment.
We see a new opportunity emerging that we think will be critical for online marketers and that will be in the area of user generated content. Time Magazine announced last week that “you” were Time’s person of the year. They discovered that average people are adding to the value of the internet by sharing or creating content and posting it on either youtube.com, myspace.com, or other similar web sites. We believe that companies looking to grow an online identity need to join this revolution by sharing their unique ideas and content in this user-generated world. This will help your potential customers to gain an understanding of what your brand and your company is really about in a way that just was not possible a few years ago.

Some web sites are carrying this user-generated revolution a step further... entire virtual worlds are being created in places such as Secondlife, where everything in the virtual world is created by its users. Secondlife supports a number of social activities, but there is also a place for business. Companies can use Secondlife as a way to host virtual presentations, allow customers to experience products on line, and as an affordable way to train staff. Imagine allowing your customers to enter your virtual world where they are surrounded by your brand while they experience your products. We believe these innovations are just the beginning of a another internet revolution.
Stay linked to Displayit while we experience this revolution, by joining our friends list at myspace.com. We will use this site to share images and videos from the lighter side of Displayit as well as share our thoughts about online marketing. We hope everyone enjoys a very successful and happy 2007.
