Displayit.com’s Exhibitor 2008 Promotion raises $1,070.00 for Charity
Visitors to Exhibitor 2008 help make a difference.

3/18/2008 - Displayit.com, an online provider of portable and modular trade show and event display products, raised $1,070 as a part of its spin the wheel for charity promotion at Exhibitor 2008.
During Exhibitor 2008, displayit.com gave every visitor that signed up for a free preferred online membership the opportunity to spin a prize wheel to win cash for one of three charities. Visitors could select from either the American Cancer Society, Habitat for Humanity, or Amigos for Christ.
Josh Axelberd, President of Displayit, Inc., says visitors loved the idea and it is simply a great way to make a difference in the community. “It is just a lot of fun to know that we can use our show promotions to make a difference long after Exhibitor 2008 is over. For example, we raised $270 for Amigos for Christ which is an organization that provides housing, food, clean water, and business opportunities for victims of Hurricane Mitch which hit Nicaragua in 1998. We are using the $270 raised at Exhibitor to pay for 3 female pigs. Each female will produce between 8 and 12 piglets which means the impact of the giving from Exhibitor will be felt for many years to come. It makes work a little more fun, knowing that our company can play a part in making the world a better place.
American Cancer Society was the big winner at Exhibitor taking home $525. The money raised for ACS will be donated at the annual Gwinnett County, GA Relay for Life event on May 9&10. The Gwinnett County Relay for Life is the largest relay event in the country raising more than $2.6 million in 2007 to fight cancer. Habitat for Humanity received $280 which will go to the organizations work of providing affordable and decent housing for people around the world.
Displayit was founded in 1996 and has grown to become one of the largest online providers of portable event and trade show display products. Based just outside Atlanta, GA, its e-commerce website www.displayit.com lists nearly 800 products that can be purchased online.
