Displayit Offers Green Sustainable Trade Show Displays
New Product Line an Exciting First Step

authorized reseller of Eco-Systems sustainable exhibit products for the trade
show marketing industry. The Eco-Systems product line is the nation's first
green-built portable modular system . It was developed with environmentally
and socially responsible materials which are benchmarked to the Leadership
in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) green building rating system of
the U.S. Green Building Council.
The Eco-Systems product line is created from a variety of materials such
as recyclable aluminum, recycled soda bottles, and rapidly renewable bamboo.
Display producers within the trade show industry have seen a growing demand
for products that are both green and sustainable. Josh Axelberd, President/CEO
of Displayit, Inc., thinks that Eco-Systems products are a great first step
for the industry. "The trade show marketing industry is pretty tough
on the environment as a whole. The traditional trade show produces a tremendous
amount of waste, plus we use lots of fossil fuels transporting both people
and exhibits to our events. There has been progress made over the last few
years in terms of making exhibits lighter for shipping purposes, but we haven't
done a lot in terms of keeping old exhibit materials out of landfills. Eco-Systems
has made great progress in this area by using materials that are both rapidly
renewable and sustainable."

as the first step in its effort to offer exhibitors more environmentally friendly
products. "This is a big change for our industry and I see this as our
first step in the green movement. We are going to have to do some work on
educating additional clients on the importance and benefits of these products
and that will take some time. As we move forward we hope to take some additional
steps, such as offering additional green materials and also introducing a
complete exhibit recycling program where we can make sure that old exhibits
stay out of landfills," said Axelberd.
