Shopping For Table Top Displays 101

Using a table top display can be a very cost effective way of exhibiting at a trade show or making an effective presentation.

Table top displays are often the most underutilized tools in the typical trade show display inventory. These displays are often used at smaller shows so there is a tendency to not spend the necessary time to select and design a table top display that will help you meet your show goals. However, with the right plan you can create a table top exhibit that is highly attractive and effective in helping you reach your trade show goals.

We offer a wide variety of table top display options. When beginning the process of selecting the right table top display system, you need to begin with deciding how you plan on transporting your exhibit to your event. There are some types of table top displays that are inexpensive purchase but costly to ship and transport across the country. You may have selected a particular table top display because it fit your budget, but after a few uses you realize that the display is no longer cost-effective to ship.

After you've determined how you plan to transport your exhibit, you need to ask yourself what you need to display. Is your graphic message going to be most effective presented in a large mural format, or will you have several segments of information to communicate?

Finally, you need to think about the environment of the event you will exhibiting at. What will your competitors have? You need to make sure your table top exhibit provides the size and quality that you will need to be competitive at your event. Below we have taken the time to talk about some of our table top display product lines, you can use this information to determine which type of table top display will be best for you.

Table Top Display Styles

Self-Packing Displays

Show Style Briefcase Display

We carry a number of Self-Packing Displays. These are table top displays that fold up and pack without requiring a case of their own. These cases are not ideal for shipping via UPS/FedEx, however they are very easy to fold up and place in your car for local and regional shows. The ShowStyle briefcase display is a lightweight display that folds up and can be carried like a briefcase. It is great for small shows and presentations to small groups, however the ShowStyle is only 24" high so while ideal for smaller events such as presentations, recruiting fairs, and small shows. This display system may not provide the height or impact necessary for larger events.

The ShowMax, and Voyager displays are larger self-packing displays that also provide an easy to use graphic area. Once again these are not ideal for shipping, so these types of exhibits are recommened for local events.

It is highly recommended that you consider adding a printed table cover to add to your table top presentation.

Reversible Table Top Display

Reversible Table Top Display

The reversible table top option offers displays that range from 39"-51" in height and are usually around 6' wide. These displays are covered in a fabric that allows you to attach graphics with velcro. These displays provide a very economical solution, but they do require a larger shipping case for transport which will lead to higher shipping costs if you plan to ship this display via UPS or FedEx.

It is highly recommended that you consider adding a printed table cover to add to your table top presentation.

Pop-Up Style Display

If you need a larger display that will ship often, you may wish to consider the pop-up style table top display. The pop-up style display offers 60 inches of height and 6 to 8 feet in width, plus it will pack into a compact wheeled case. You can select between fabric or graphic covered options. The pop-up style display provides a large table top display that is great for displaying large format graphics and the display packs up easily into a shipping case that is smaller than the case for the reversible table top, this means shipping costs on a pop-up style table top display is less than other table top styles.

A newer option available for pop-up style table top displays with graphics is our Blast Table Top Display. This a traditional pop-up frame, with a flexible fabric graphic attached. The graphic stays attached to the frame allowing you to collapse the display with the graphic attached. It allows you to setup and take the display down in a matter of seconds.
