Outlining Text Tutorial

What is "outlined" text?

Outlined text is text whose letters have been converted into a vectored format.

Why should I outline my text?

Vectored text can be scaled infinitely without any loss of image quality, which means that your text will appear smooth and crisp at any size or resolution. When your text is outlined, your text layout will appear correctly on your graphic. Graphics printers can open your artwork and print your images with your desired font (without needing the additional font file).

Note: Once text is outlined, it can no longer be changed/edited.
