When it comes to discussing trade show displays, the talk usually centers around full height and large displays. However table top style displays play a big role in the exhibiting programs of most companies. Whether for small regional shows or for recruiting fairs, table top displays are asked to project a professional image and convey a large amount of information about your organization. We wanted to take some time this month to discuss some ideas for creating an effective table top display.
Full color fabric displays have had a big impact on the exhibit industry by making exhibits more unique, lighter and easier to setup. Fabric has also had an impact on the table top display. The Blast 60" x 60" table top display has been an exciting innovation. This display features a 60" x 60" full color graphic that comes attached to a small pop-up frame. You simply expand the frame, and you have a powerful full color graphic ready to display. The cost of this unit is only $795, so with a display like this you have a low cost display that is also very lightweight(13 pounds) and easy to ship. The one limitation of this system is you must change the entire 60" x 60" graphic. You cannot change out individual parts of the overall graphic, so you must make sure that you design your graphic to convey the proper message.
For those interested in this fabric style of display but need to switch out individual parts of the graphic message, you may want to consider the Xpressions style display. The Xpressions systems allow you to customize and switch out individual graphic elements. These elements can also be interchanged with full height Xpressions frames.
Fabric can also play a part in improving the look of an existing table top display. A logo imprinted table cover can add a lot of impact to an existing table top display. You can use dye sublimation printing techniques to produce full color table covers or a screen printing/vinyl heat transfer process to produce simpler logos. The key to producing a great looking table cover is to keep your concept simple. Use the table cover to spotlight a clean looking logo that immediately introduces your brand to show attendees.
Remember, there are plenty of ways to create an exciting table top display. Small doesn’t have to be mean boring. Use these recent innovations to make your table top display the hit of your next event.
