Displayit is partnering with the Walking Forward Educational Ministry to help diminish poverty in Kenya.
From October 1st through December 31st, Displayit will be donating 10% of all replacement graphics sales to the Walking Forward Educational Ministry.
What is the Walking Forward Educational Ministry?
The Walking Forward Educational Ministry seeks to break the cycle of poverty by providing children with resources necessary to continue their education. Walking Forward is currently seeking sponsors for Kenyan children.
A donation of $780 covers an entire year's tuition, uniforms, and school supplies.
About Kenya:
- In 2009, the average yearly income was only $1,600 USD, averaging out to $4.38 per day
- 40% of the population is unemployed
- The average child receives just ten years of formal schooling
